Suzie & Sam's wedding....
Fantastic wedding yesterday - Suzie and Sam were married at St Margarets, East Wellow with the Reception at the Botleigh Grange. The weather was great - although being a photographer I would have prefered a little light cloud to make exposure easier but that's me! Lots to edit but here's a few tasters....
Have a great honeymoon Suzie and Sam !

Kayleigh & Brendan pre wedding shoot 14.05.11
Luckily, my toe has returned to somewhere near it's correct size so I can get about OK therefore I was able to meet Kayleigh and Brendan in Old Portsmouth for their shoot. The weather was ok - a bit blustery which meant an umbrella on my off camera flash came a cropper ! I triggered the flash using my Pocketwizard Mini TT1/TT5 which worked perfectly and I was able to use flash at very high shutter speeds which will be great for creative shots. As I've mentioned before, you can book a shoot like this via Ian Burnett Photography. Here's a few images from the shoot.....

HMS Diamond 6th May
Very busy evening at the Portsmouth NavalBase Boathouse/Action stations with the commissioning ball of the Type 45 destroyer HMS Diamond. The 500+ guests were entertained by an excellent band and DJ and an impressive ice diamond sculpture/vodka luge - pictures below:
Evening didn't finish too well - dropped a heavy bench on my foot and looking at the multi-coloured mess this morning and an inability to wiggle my toe I've done some damage...........bit like a seventies sitcom but even more painful ! Probably step on a garden rake next...

4th May 2011: CPAC promenade 5k
It's been a little quiet recently but I covered a Tri at Steyning last Sunday (images on Sussex Sports Photography's website and a couple below) and tonight I photographed the City of Portsmouth Athletics club Promenade 5k event at the Mountbatten. Not sure how many ran but in the region of 175 I'd guess. Here's a couple of images:
If you ran the race, check my website to see your picture:
