That was a great night - very busy throughout and the entertainment was top class - the band - Kojaks Revenge- were excellent again. Having seen them in action twice now I must say they really are a top act full of energy and with a really wide range of songs.
The 4 light studio setup worked pretty well again with a constant queue most of the evening - I took the opportunity to grab a shot of my associate Adrian in action - gives you an idea of the setup. Can't quite see her but my daughter Emma was in charge of the sales point, printing the photos on the night. It amazes me that she never looks flustered even with a queue ! Must take after me ! Lol
The venue - No 7 Boathouse, Portsmouth Naval Base - is perfect. It's the Navalbase visitors cafe during the day but for an evening event it transforms. It's a great venue and I'm always pleased when I have an event there - it's spacious and very well organised. As an event photographer I get the chance to see various venues "in action" and how succesful they are and certainly 7 Boathouse takes all the boxes for me.
